this thing is fast i had it up to 70 no problem...pedal to spare...i need something lik a hitch on the back and pull a small car!

That could be pushing it RPM-wise. Do you have a tach?

5,000 RPM is about max for a 360 with cast iron crank from everything I've heard. A 318 with forged crank is capable of higher revs without problems, but the real limiting factor is the possibility of valvetrain issues at sustained high engine speeds - unless, of course, you have a modified version with roller lifters, balanced crank and etc. The other potential problem is excess exhaust temps cracking the manifold(s), which is pretty common with these engines.
