My colored/textured paint sections have seen better days, and I doubt there is a good way to polish them. So, I want to repaint. Someone suggested that Hall may have used the textured paint to hide imperfections in the fiberglass. Has anyone stripped their old textured paint off and repainted it with normal paint? If so, did the fiberglass end up being smooth, or did it need a lot of body filler? I'd rather have normal paint than doing a textured finish again.
