Hello all, I was pointed over here from Classic B's yahoo group.
While I've been primarily considering a transvan or similar, I was informed about the GTCs. I'd really like to see one in person.
Does anyone know of one somewhere near southern Indiana? One that someone would be willing to let me look at?

What; no Travco? Glad to see you haven't made your mind all the way up yet! Matt

I'm looking trying to keep an open eye right now. However, I'm looking the most at a GTC or a Travco 210. Both seem to be pretty few and far between.
I also have a sense of money/time and know what I'd be willing to pay what price for.
But being fairly new to the whole scene, who knows what I might find. When we started out looking, my heart was a on a transvan, but my wife likes being able to stand up. When you (Matt) pointed out the GTC to me, I really got to liking them.
Added to that, my steep driveway limits the amount of overhang we can have.
I've also been looking at construction. A full fiberglass body is a must for me. I HATE dealing with leaks. So the fewer seams, the better. My mother had a pull behind camper. Since she's passed we haven't done anything with it, mainly due to leaks. Still deciding on if it's worth it to repair it.
I also think 20-22ft or so would be more ideal, if for maneuverability than anything else.
Both the GTC and the Travco 210 don't seem to be easy to find... but I'm not in a hurry regardless.

Everything leaks. It just depends on if you can fix it. The Brougham leaks where the fiberglass end caps attach to the camper. The GTCs leak at the windows but that can be fixed. They both leak at the clearance lights so that is usually the first thing I fix.
The GTC is one of the rarest desireable campers out there. They lengthened the wheelbase so you don't have such a huge overhang in the back. Mine had a trailer hitch that hung way down and I bet it dragged in a few driveways.
I haven't heard back from the New York guy but I don't think he uses e-mail much. I do have a phone number for him if you want to give him a call. I'll send it to you in a PM.

Thanks. I gave him a call. Apparently the number is a friend of his. We will see if he gives me a call back.

I have a 1976 in Tubac Az its Vin # is 73/75 si its one of the last ones made. the inside is perfect outside is very good. I just drove it 5,000 miles. It does need work Just put in wheel bearings universals front brakes tires,Had the tranny rebuilt about 2,000 miles ago. When I parked it I noticed when real hot outside the Trans would slip until you gave it a rev the would hook up. I think maybe adjustment. No generator. $3,000.00 I do have pictures if interested.
