The fresh water supply pump is running, but it is not getting water to the sinks, except for sputters. So, after hearing and seeing water dripping from the outside rear of our GTC, directly under the fresh water tank and pump, we drained the tank and removed the pump.

Once we had the pump out, we found a crack on the plastic section that seems to hold a filter. Can we simply eliminate that part of the assembly?

I found several websites that offer this pump and parts. And I found this site helpful
https://www.etrailer.com/question-357142.html

I talked with one local mechanic who said I could just eliminate the filter... but is that a good idea?

We are thinking we can simply leave the strainer out of the water line. I found one that will replace the cracked one, but it costs more to ship it than the price of the part, adding up to $20. It's OK if necessary, but we don't see why we really need it. If anyone has insights about this, please share.

Here is the website where I found it: https://mkrittenhouse.com/us/shurflo-st ... assemblies

Did you get that resolved? Unfortunately my GTC sits behind my shop waiting for some love while I've got a million other projects. I haven't put the christmas tree in it yet.
