So I went with the Red Head steering. They guy I spoke to and who helped me at Red Head knew what he was doing.
He knew exactly what I needed and he even helped me find a local shop who had previously instaled there products. Luckily I asked. The shop was Rons front end and brakes in Portland and he let my know after 10 minutes he wouldn’t have any issues doing it. He did it in hours and nailed it. He checked my brake fluid to see if I needed a flush and it was still good, he also adjusted the rear brakes and I had him do an alignment again after I got new tires just a day before. Great shop, been there fourth years.
$254. to do the swap. $89 for alignment and no charge for the brake check and adjustment.
Couldn’t believe it. The Red Head box was like $454,$60 for round trip shipping.
And was refunded $250 for the core. It has less play now much better.
