 Post subject: lugs

what size are the lug nuts onthes things....? i have went to 3 different places and got 3 different answers..1/2 or 3/8 ..i cant imagine mm..the new wheels say 60 degree conical...theres no way the original lug nuts are that...and is it just thread size or is there something else to account for?

They should be 5/8". The originals are 90 degrees but most modern wheels are 60. You need to match them to the wheels. And if you keep your original spare you'll need to keep a set of lug nuts to fit. The duallies use a different type of lug nut that can be found in my post about dually wheels.

What kind of wheels are you putting on?

i bought the rims from summit racing...16x 10 and 16x8

You might also check on ebay. Sometimes you can get them in bulk.

And don't forget to keep a set of your old lug nuts in your coach if you're going to use one of the original wheels as a spare.
