No pictures yet, but we had "Roger" out for a trip to Carmel Valley this last weekend. It was 111 F here in the upper Salinas river valley to start the trip (with no A/C!) and it ran nice and cool cruising @ around 60, which is about 160 miles each way. The speedo reads 8 MPH over actual and I'm having some issues with constant voltage input to the gauges so fuel level, temp and oil pressure move around a bit. Kind of like driving an English car.

The only problem we really had was a leak in the "winterizing system" bypass lines at the water heater, which had been done with un-reinforced poly tubing. In spite of the idiocy of using such ill-advised material for the application, it didn't burst (even though it grew from 3/4 OD to 1 1/2 OD), but the ends became soft enough from the (very) hot water in the line that the 100 lb campsite water pressure that the hose clamps loosened up. I didn't have my pressure reducer along. Oops! I'll know better next time.

Aside from that, everything worked great, except that I'm now sure that I'm going to have the sette seats rebuilt so that we don't have to take along an extra foam pad to smooth out the hard spots. We comfortably were able to accomodate 4 adults, two medium sized dogs and my 1 year old grandson for 2 meals inside, along with preparing many meals and me washing many dishes. The layout of the Hall is excellent for "entertaining". The only iffy thing is that I replaced the terrible original door to the head with a fabric accordion thing that, while it works really well for blocking the view, allows plenty of sound effects through. Ho ho ho!

On the way to Carmel we had 25 - 35 MPH headwinds, very high temps and even some stop and go driving that gave us about 9 MPG average. I'm not sure about the return trip, but we had good tail winds for at least half the way, so it should be considerably better. Will furnish a few photos when I get it together.
Matt

You actually went camping? Are those plastic tubes on all of them our was that something added on? I've never even hooked mine up to city water or put water in the tank.

Also how did the windows work out?

I actually did! The plastic tube thingy holds the waste tube and fittings, and is one of my better purchases. The 12 volt pressure system works great, as does the the shore-water system - but watch out for unregulated water supplies!

The windows worked great. No issues at all.

I just now found your message. Can you believe it?
