i fixed pretty much everything i can...phew...finally got the thing registered...antique plates yea...cheap...the only left thing to do for real camp trip is the generator hookup/solar panels and the stereo....done this week...also i need to have the old propane tank in there refilled or replaced..make sure that is operational...notice i dyed the curtains instead of replacing them

I see you have the original shelf above the bed, do you have the extra cushion for the dinette under there? Also, do you need handles for your cabinets? You can just replace the latch and handle without removing the cups.

i was going to put those handles that u pull on that kinda cover the whole so they look a lil better but they are about 6-8 a piece..and i need 6 of them;)
but thats for the drawers..i did replace just the little latches for all the cabinets but one of them was just toast so i need but the whole thing

Is that the original fabric on the bed and dinette seats? Nice! I got rid of the door to the head because of a non-removable warp. It was BAD. I replaced it with a modern accordion vinyl shower door that weighs almost nothing, doesn't rattle and does everything better except keep things private. Having lived on a small sailboat with my wife years ago, though, it's the pinnacle of privacy! BTW, it also doesn't bang up against the edge of the bunk when you open it. :-)

well i dont need extend the bed out so thats not a problem....i did mash the closet door into the door handle of the bathrroom...oops..small hole there now..so id like a flush mount latch for the door there ...would be cool...but other than that im ok with the size in there....just big enough..the original shower curtain is the right idea itslike a folding vinyl piece but i dont think it will hold up undr a lot of use...i thought of covering it with new material to make it more durable or getting something similar

That's the same stuff that the other accordion doors are made of, and pretty stout. Mine is also in good shape, but the small one above the drawers needs to have the stitching redone somehow. They attached the tracks with rivets, of all the lame ideas, so any repairs require drilling them out.

You can't do much with the lockset on the head door, because it's hollow, and very lightly made. Believe me, I worked on mine for weeks before giving up and going with the folding screen. =(:-/

I should try making a bi-fold door for mine. I'm missing the door entirely.

If you're going to make a rigid bi-fold, be sure and check the door frame for squareness first. Also, put a straightedge on the door jambs and check to see if a door will actually fit. Mine is square, but the jamb is curved enough to either require adding a stiffener of some kind, or replace the jamb (with clear teak, no less!), which is why the flexible door was sooo attractive.
