I checked out the ad... Nice gelcoat (?) job! Odd tool chest on rear bumper, same fridge as mine, interior described as being "Birchwood" (not), and that it's Airstream's first attempt at a motorhome, which it ain't. Other than that I like that he's asking nine grand. ;-)

yea well they do have that airstream shape but yes he is mistaken....i think thats a advertising attempt there to stretch the truth a bit...i dont lik the color scheme ..was that original?and my opinion after havin mine for a few years that it would deserve a good askin price thes are not those other dodge platform "cheapy" motorhomes, airstreams command the big $$$ these should too

Well, John Hall was the plant manager at his step-fathers Airstream company for a number of years. I'd say that his Revcons were a lot more Airstream-like, being aluminum and all, but maybe the owner of this GTC did some extrapolating. Yep. I've got a ton in mine as well after 6 years of fussing and getting things right. The paint not being one of them!

I'm afraid so - at least if you want it done right. The big issue is that the design is complicated and heavy on detail work - and that there are 3 colors. SO much masking, sanding and more sanding! I can't decide whether to do it right and re-shoot it with gelcoat, or with linnear polyurethane. With gelcoat, the sanding is even MORE.
