Wanted to start a post about installing rearview camera's on the Hall. Has any one done this yet? Maybe it's just me but I find the rear view mirror only usefull for seeing what cabniet doors I need to fix. I'd love to be able to see directly behind the GTC.

Prices on components have gotten pretty cheap these days and I am looking at try out the following setup.

camera

monitor

Then get a 20+ foot cable to run under. Depending on how that goes I might try adding a second camera that is up high looking down at the back to get a distance view. Why I'll run at least 2 rca cables to the back :)

There are some wireless versions that might be easier to install. Curious to see what you end up with. I only have one of those fresnel lenses for the back window.

I have one sitting in the barn waiting for me to get motivated enough to spend a few hours crawling underneath and feeding cables hither and thither. Mine (unfortunately) is supposed to fit over the rear-view mirror, but it's so big that it doesn't fit properly. I like the wireless idea better, I think.

Here it is the camera is just sitting on the back bumper on that picture. Why it is tilted. I went wired because most of the wireless options work like the video baby monitor and that I have and that goes haywire with the slightest interference. I'll post more once I finish mounting both cameras.

Nice! I like the large screen and on the dash location.
