I have the exact problem with mine. Everything, and I mean Everything, is either new or rebuilt in the steering, but the steering box leaks (from day one!) and there is too much lash for my liking. I also have a new steering dampner and swaybar so it handles like a 70's sedan, but there's a bit of a "loose spot" when going straight ahead that can feel spooky when there's gusty sidewind. It makes narrow country road driving not as good as I would prefer. I think that whoever supplied the "rebuilt" steering gear to NAPA did a rattle can job only, since the oil seal is worse than the one I took out. Grrrrr.

Ryan from TruckSpring.com said: "The coil springs have a bench height of 14-5/8 inches. They do not have an installed height for coil springs. Feel free to call us if you have any other questions."

If you do a search for that part number, there are cheaper sources. Some of them are listed as HD springs for the later B-Vans and some pickups.
